What’s there to be expected in 2021?

The last few months have undoubtedly been hard for the majority of people and companies. The COVID19 took everybody by surprise, and had unprecedented consequences on the global economy. Amidst this situation, the FinTech industry still managed to achieved unprecedented levels of growth, and keep the momentum it had been carrying since 2017, when the craze for new technologies like distributed ledgers catapulted its value.

Although there is still a lot of uncertainty as to what the next year might bring, this uncertainty is finally accompanied by a good degree of hope. With the prospects of a vaccine to the virus and the majority of the world’s economies seemingly on their way towards recovery, there is a lot to look forward to in the upcoming year. On top of this, the installment of a new government in the US could represent a paradigm shift in the way international relations are carried in terms of commerce, hopefully for the better. The last couple of years were marked by an economic war between the two most powerful countries in the world, which greatly affected the markets of technological products. Hopefully, tensions will be reduced and the confidence of investors will be restored.

With this said, the future is looking bright for the FinTech industry, and of course, for Konzortia Capital itself. Although many would claim that the growth achieved by FinTechs was largely the result of the social distancing measures that forced people to look for financial services they could access from home, this is only partially true. Reality is that with or without a global pandemic, financial technologies are needed more than ever. The pandemic might’ve exacerbated the necessity to bring people together economically, financially and in the opportunities to collaborate and create businesses. This, however, is a human necessity that never ceases to exist.

That’s one of many reasons why it is being said that 2021 is the year for FinTech, and as such, the year for Konzortia Capital. With the launch of SBank programmed for the beginning of the year, as well as many other plans to expand the company (which will be revealed in later updates), we see a very bright 2021 ahead of us. It has already been demonstrated that FinTechs are much more than a passing fad, and will in fact be the cornerstone of a paradigm shift in the world of finances. Konzortia Capital is taking many important steps towards becoming a leader on the industry, and we are confident that the fruits of the efforts made throughout the current year are going to be yet much larger in the next one.
