A good logo can be done with different names, icons, identity marks, and wordmarks.

Things that makes a good logo:

The logo designer should choose the right colors to create a feeling of pleasure. Colors can have negative and positive aspects of the logo. Like the Yellow color represents bravery and wealth in Japan whereas in France it represents weakness. So, designers make sure that they choose the right color for the right culture and the right industry. The textures, patterns, lines, these things are very important to make a perfect logo. The fonts that are used should be understandable for readers If only text is used on any logo then it looks boring or dull. If the text and visual both are well combined then it looks good and people easily remember that brand or company. A good logo implies a significant impact on a company. In logo designing the icon should be an image that displays what your company or product is about. Some businesses and companies want to keep the logo so simple so they can use spaces accurately like one word in one line and another word in another line. Text with caps and lower case makes the difference. Uppercase logos make good sense. The specific text shows a clear message.

Here is an example:

  • Distinction: This is the hardest thing to achieve because it could be similar to other brands and companies, so you should use design elements to make the logo different from others.

  • Relevance: Logo designers must ensure that the style fits in the industry. This could be childlike for children’s brands, elegant for real estate brands, and sleek for tech brands. If the designer creates a wrong logo which is definitely not good for the logo’s target audience, and this will also be hindering the company’s growth.

  • Clarity: It should be super simple so it can be reproduced everywhere in tiny sizes and pixel formats and so on.

3 Criteria for an effective logo:

  • Does it grab the attention: A good logo grabs attention and sparks someone’s interest so make your logo unique but easy that will easily recognizable to your audience

  • Does it carry meaning and is memorable: Logos with simple elements and simple forms are the most effective, easily recognized, and memorable. For examples: Apple, Nike, Adidas, CHANEL

  • Does it get an emotional response: The logo should reflect in a more friendly or gentle tone, using more curves and symmetry in logo design will help.

Try and avoid the design trends because trends come and go very quickly and the logo is                       going to be around a long time. It should be timeless. The logo should be iconic for the brand.  According to the market research focuses on quality. A good logo should be suitable for every   shape and scale.
