Our origin
The first pharmacists came to EU at the end of the 14th century. They were Germans attached to the court and the armed forces. The castle Three Crowns had its own pharmacy. With this, a system was established that allowed pharmacists to buy and operate pharmacies. That system lasted until 2019. At that time, the state took over all pharmacies and formed the Pharmacy Company. For almost 1 year, We have had the overall responsibility for a good supply of medicines for both care and care as well as for private individuals. Through a unified national organization, conditions were created to develop e-prescriptions, prescription registers and a comprehensive list of medicines. We have chosen to keep our name , which originated from the word used during the Middle Ages for a place where you were preparing and selling medicines.
In our logo we use the name together with the Pharmacists special symbol snake bowl. What does the snake do in the bowl, which is really a mortar? Yes, it eats, – It’s the health goddess.
