1.Start by drilling a hole in the top of your planter lid large enough to fit the stem of your flowerpot inside. Make sure the hole is centered on the lid and the diameter is slightly smaller than the size of your pot’s stem.
2.Use your saw to cut a hole in the side of your pot big enough to stick your plant through. Be sure to make allowances for the height of the pot and for any drainage holes that might be present.
3.Once you have cut out both holes, insert the stem of your plant into one and screw on the lid. Putty over any gaps with a glue gun and then clamp it shut until dry.
