Nissan Almera All Terrain: Design
Nissan Almera differs from its European counterpart in a number of ways. First of all, it features a totally new design, characterized by sharp, straight lines and a very tall, wide-arm configuration. The new automobile’s roof has also been modified – from six inches lower than the standard model to ten inches lower.
In addition to these roof alterations, Nissan Almera’s cabin has also undergone radical changes, with a complete overhaul of the inside design, meant especially for the all-new Almera. As a member of the third generation of Nissan cars, this new model features an expanded selection of styles and colors. Nissan Almera is equipped with a new, lightweight backup battery and a Type S manual gearbox, as well as front airbags and side airbags.
Nissan Almera All Terrain: Grades
Nissan Almera All Terrain is actually the first model in the Nissan Almera line to be offered with all-wheel drive. Models are further separated into three grades. The grade “A” offers a manual transmission only, while the grades “B” through “C” include a twin-axle powertrain and a rear-axle. For the most powerful models, a “D” grade vehicle incorporates both a manual transmission and a torque-distributed torque split between the engine and a center drive unit.
For this reason, Nissan Almera All-Terrain is the only subcompact sedan offered with this combination of powertrain options.
Nissan Almera All Terrain: Features
As already stated, Nissan Almera All-Terrain is powered by a twin-axle engine. Other trim changes have included various size and type of exterior trim, including kidney fin, daytime running lights, front and rear bumper extensions, side skirt area, mirror tint, door handles and instrument panel trims. It is also interesting to note that the Nissan Almera All-Terrain is the first subcompact sedan to use a front grille that is functional. However, it is only available on some variants.
