Assamese singer appreciated by renowned British musician on a radio show

Music has no boundaries or language is proven correct on 5th February,2021 when a Tokyo-based radio station “Street Sound Radio” has decided to broadcast an Indian(Assamese) song “Uri Jaboloi Mon Jai” (which means “Mind wants to fly”) looking into the merit of the song. The song was written by famous Assamese lyricist and composer Siddhartha Kashyap and sung by Tanupriya Kalita. She is a post graduate in Music and Spotify Verified Artist, affiliated to BMI, USA.  Ms. Kalita once appreciated by legendary music icon “Bharat Ratna” late Dr. Bhupen Hazarika about her musical talents in her childhood itself. The song was released on 1st January 2021 on all major digital platforms. Sound Street Radio has broadcasted and reviewed the song in a music review show hosted by famous British musician Steve Benham on Friday 5th of February 2021 at 6:30 pm (Japan Standard Time). The song also ranked high in the ‘Radio Indie Alliance’ Top 10 Chart. Singers from the USA(4), UK(2), Macedonia(1), Italy(1), Netherlands(1), India(1) were shortlisted for the Steve’s Music Review Show.
